Understanding Biology. Rethinking Autism. Advancing Care.
5 - 7 March 2027
The Autism Medical & Research Summit (AMRS) 2027 is the world’s first immersive, metaverse congress dedicated to advancing the medical understanding of high-support Autism and other medically complex neurodevelopmental conditions.
Our scientific vision is to: define the complexity and explore the biology to transform the care. AMRS brings together clinicians, researchers, healthcare professionals, industry, policymakers and families. The goal is to address one of the greatest challenges in Autism today: understanding why outcomes are so heterogeneous and how biological discoveries can be translated into better diagnosis, personalised care and improved lifelong outcomes.
The summit places particular emphasis on high-support Autism, a subgroup representing approximately 30% of the Autistic population. Despite their complex medical needs, these individuals remain significantly underrepresented in research and underserved by healthcare systems worldwide. AMRS was created to accelerate research, foster international collaboration and advance precision medicine for autistic individuals with the greatest support needs.
AMRS is not a traditional congress transferred online. It is a scientific forum where learning and collaboration happens before, during, and after the live event. Participants access the congress through an immersive, virtual environment featuring auditoriums, expert rooms, research studios, interactive clinical spaces, poster halls, networking lounges and dedicated family and community areas—all accessible from a standard web browser. No specialised equipment is required.
The scientific programme has been designed around a participant journey rather than a sequence of lectures. Learning also begins before the congress through pre-recorded, expert presentations, research papers and preparatory educational content. Live sessions are then dedicated to expert panels, multidisciplinary discussions, clinical case reviews, workshops, round tables and collaborative scientific debate. This allows participants to engage more deeply with the evidence and with one another.
Beyond the live programme, the AMRS Knowledge World remains available as a permanent educational resource, giving participants continued access to recorded sessions, immersive clinical experiences, research presentations and educational materials. The summit also supports international networking, working groups and research collaborations designed to generate lasting scientific and clinical impact.
By combining immersive technology with an innovative educational model, AMRS creates a global scientific platform where knowledge is shared, collaborations are built and research is translated into better diagnostics, better treatments and better care.
Where science meets collaboration to transform care.
AMRS brings together experts from around the world to explore the biological and physiological mechanisms underlying Autism and other complex neurodevelopmental conditions. The program covers the latest scientific advances across multiple disciplines, with a focus on improving diagnosis, patient stratification, precision medicine and evidence-based clinical care.
...and many more.
Access the latest scientific evidence through on-demand lectures, live discussions, clinical case reviews, and interactive sessions led by internationally recognised experts.
Connect with clinicians, researchers, healthcare professionals, industry, and organisations committed to understanding the biological and physiological mechanisms underlying Autism and translating research into better care.
AMRS offers dedicated programmes for healthcare professionals, researchers, and families, ensuring every participant gains practical, evidence-based knowledge as part of one global scientific community.
Hear from internationally recognized clinicians, researchers and scientific leaders who are shaping the future of Autism medicine, neuroscience, and precision healthcare.
